Greetings all,
Kansas came together in a massive way, and once again… WE SAID NO, OUR COURTS ARE NOT FOR SALE! Our deepest gratitude to all of you who knocked doors, sent texts, mailed postcards and had tough conversations with your friends. We hope everyone took some time in August to rest up after the Primary because we are back at it in the office and we need all hands on deck!
While we celebrated another victory, the Shawnee County Democrats also celebrated ten years of being organized in our headquarters! During our ten-year celebration, we also named the main area of our headquarters the Anthony Hensley Room to recognize his accomplishments and to honor his time in office. We also took time to recognize Ethel Edwards for her role in opening our headquarters and her dedication to the county party.

Chair Jason Peters also wanted to collect school supplies during our day of celebration. Thank you to all who donated back-to-school supplies! Ethel and Lance delivered them all to Pine Ridge Prep. They were so thankful for all the items, especially the paper towels!!! Their note to us said: "Thank you so much for your organization's donation. Your partnership is truly appreciated! I have attached a photo from the day. We recognized your support during our August Site Council meeting as well."
